2020 needs to get it’s act together…already!

Well, thus far, 2020 has been one bombshell of bad news after another.  We’ve already been to the vet unexpectedly.  A friend of mine is fighting for her life, and a whole myriad of drama has taken hold of the lives of my students.  I began the year in “a dark place” hoping it was just the holiday blues and it would pass.  I had hoped the wolf moon would bring with it the expected feelings of renewal and hope and ability to ground myself again.  Alas, that is not the case.  I feel bogged down by all of the hardships in the lives of my loved ones and I continue to focus all of my energy and intention on healing, peace, and love in their lives.  I am thankful for everything I have in my life and the drama-free calm stream of life that I float upon at home.  I will take a walk in the woods tomorrow and relish in the sights and sounds of mother nature and open myself up to her promises of calm, rest, and renewal that she brings this time of year.  If you’re feeling bogged down by the last 10 days like I am, maybe you could do the same.  Sink your toes into the earth and channel all your good intentions to someone who needs them if you have some to spare.
